Need a fast dessert? Contribution to a carry-in lunch? Kid’s party at school? Or do you just want some warm cookies and a glass of milk, and fast?
Here’s a quick recipe for cookies that doesn’t only requires 3 ingredients, eggs, a cake mix, and oil.
You can use any kind of cake mix you want. I have used white cake, yellow cake, spice, lemon and orange flavored. I think I like the lemon best. I made a light lemon icing with butter, lemon juice and powdered sugar to spread on them.
Here’s the recipe:
1 box cake mix
1/2 c. oil, not olive oil
Mix ingredients well. Place on ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
I also have a recipe for Bisquick cookies. I will have to search for that one and give it to you later.
I found the Bisquick recipe. It will work for any similar brand of baking mix.
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 T. oil, canola
1 t. vanilla
Combine and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 8-10 minutes. You may sprinkle them with colored sugar before baking.
